911 Dispatcher Opening
Custer County Communications is currently accepting applications for a 911 dispatcher. Applicants must have good computer skills, be proficient in written and spoken communications, be able to multitask, and work well with others. This position can be stressful at times; however, it can also be very personally rewarding. This position includes three shifts, a day shift (6AM-6PM), a mid-shift (9AM-9PM), and a night shift (6PM-6AM). The shifts consist of three days on and then three days off followed by four days on and four days off (this includes working weekends and holidays). Applicant must be able to pass a background check and be drug free. Application process could result in an oral/written interview and a competency test.
